2nd May 2012 - Didn't we have a lovely time the days we went to .........

Oh wow! What a fantastic event, what fun we had... a dedicated team of 27 (not all pictured). Teachers, students, and family members put in many hours and worked so hard by pulling out all the stops and put on such a fantastic show, running the 'Taste of Sugarcraft' 'Have-A-GO' tables at Cake International London ExCel 2012. We were manning three tables teaching Royal icing, Character modelling and Sugarflowers. We could have kept it simple, but no, in true Inspired Creations style we decided to go for it big time. There was even a make shift kitchen and through valued support from suppliers represented at the show who sponsored our stand, we were kitted out with much of the necessary equipment and materials. Not a chair empty throughout the entire weekend, no punch ups, no black eyes, just worn out voices, swollen feet and happy faces! And yes, we have been invited back next year so put it into your diary 12th - 14th April 2013.
ICHF brought Cake International to London for the first time this year, with around 14000 visitors over the weekend and it proved to be a great success. Between our three tables, Inspired Creations by our calculation must have taught new skills to over 1800 visitors, with many the demonstrations, asking about our classes and admiring the display of tutors' and students' work.
All of the credit goes to our dedicated team of volunteers. Hannah Collison owner of Inspired Creations School of Sugarcraft says: "I am so lucky and grateful to have such lovely and generous people, my friends, to help me follow my dream to mark our school based in Surrey, now in its 13th year, firmly on the map". We have already noticed an increase in bookings for our classes. We shall always remember our roots, but feel that now is the time, to take that next step by expanding and offering even more excellent quality, value for money courses'.
